Lee D. Flournoy has conducted hundreds of jury trials in the Superior and District Courts, including murders and dozens of serious felonies, medical malpractice cases involving wrongful death and serious injuries, and significant business and commercial cases. She has handled complex divorces and probate matters, and brings her expertise in privacy and criminal law to bear in those cases. She appears frequently in courts throughout western Massachusetts. Lee graduated from Wellesley College in 1971 with honors, and from Northeastern University School of Law in 1974. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1975, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1976. She was a staff attorney for Western Massachusetts Legal Services from 1975 until 1979, and an Assistant District Attorney for the Berkshire District from 1979-1989.where she headed Superior Court trials and the appellate unit . She has conducted a civil, criminal and domestic relations private practice since 1989. She was a partner in Lamme, Linscott & Flournoy from 1990 until 1995, and of counsel at Cain Hibbard Myers & Cook from 1995 until 1999. She is the chairman of the Berkshire Bar Association’s Bench-Bar Appellate Committee, co-chair of the Berkshire Bar Association Superior Court Bench-Bar Committee, and has served on the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section Council. There, she authored an amicus brief in a case establishing important defense rights with regard to access to witnesses’ privileged records. She has handled dozens of other appeals in the Massachusetts Appeals and Supreme Judicial Courts. Lee has been an instructor in trial practice, domestic relations and criminal practice and recent legal developments for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and the Massachusetts Bar Association. |

Jennifer L. Galvagni is a 2002 honors graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she held a Maine Association for Public Interest Law Fellowship to work at the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project. She returned to Pittsfield to practice, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2005. She concentrates in criminal work, personal injury and insurance defense, and commercial work and has special expertise in domestic violence cases. She is certified by the Committee for Public Counsel Services as a Bar Advocate for the District Courts. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. |
